RedSky Gallery was founded in 2003 to showcase fine arts and crafts. We are committed to representing the best in local and national contemporary art and fine craft. As such, RedSky has won Charlotte Magazine’s Readers’ Choice Award for Best Gallery for the last two years. Visitors will find a pleasing array of high quality collections that encompass a variety of styles and price points.

Corporate Art Services
RedSky’s mission is to assist companies in demonstrating business philosophy and goals through their art programs. RedSky’s approach is straightforward: minimize the cost of art purchases through a cost plus pricing policy; and minimize the time and effort needed in the selection, delivery, installation and management of corporate art.

RedSky understands the different roles art plays in a corporate environment, from the necessary prints on the walls in staff areas to the one-of-a-kind statement pieces for key client presentation areas. RedSky takes into consideration the role that perception and price play today in corporations and understands that art is a key public relations component which needs to be managed correctly.

RedSky’s corporate services programs can be briefly summarized as follows:

• Art Management Program: Focuses on assessment, selection, custom creation, installation as well as management of all two and three dimensional art such as paintings, prints, giclees, glass, sculpture, and installation metalwork.

• Purchasing Program: A superb opportunity for those companies that have interior design staffs of their own or have contracted with outside design firms.

• Gifts Program: We believe that art is wonderful way to recognize valuable employees and clients. Its goal is to minimize the time and cost required by businesses to provide these gifts while at the same time increase the impact they have on the recipient.

• Deaccessioning Program: Manages the issues involved with frequent relocations, closures, and just general unfitting. It also provides guidance in the area of charitable art donations.

Gallery Rental/Events
RedSky Gallery is pleased to offer our 6,000 sq. ft. of gallery space for special event rentals. Our unique space is intimate yet spacious enough for large parties. Contact the gallery for pricing, availability, and additional information about hosting your next corporate breakfast or fundraiser, cocktail reception, holiday party, or other special event at the gallery.

Bridal Registry
Our Bridal Registry is a very popular option for art-loving brides and grooms! We will be glad to help the couple create a registry of their favorite fine art and contemporary craft. Guests can view many of the items selected by the bride and groom on our web site (shown on the “Exhibitions” page) and then call the gallery to place an order.

Artist Submissions
RedSky Gallery accepts artist submissions in the form of a post-mailed CD or e-mail containing high resolution images, as well as an artist statement and resume. Email is preferred.


Location/Directions

RedSky Gallery is located at 1244 East Blvd. in the heart of the historic Dilworth neighborhood in a 6000 sq. ft. old home. We are conveniently located within walking distance to numerous restaurants and unique shops. RedSky is accessible by CATS bus via Route 36 and LYNX light rail via the East/West Blvd. stop.

To Dilworth Location:
From I-77 South
Take Exit 9A, WEST Blvd. Turn left at light, heading east, under I-77. Cross South Blvd, road changes name to East Blvd., continue for approx. one mile. Just before Kenilworth Ave on right, at corner of Charlotte Drive, 1244 East Blvd.

From I-77 North
Take Exit 8, Remount Rd, turn right. Go 1/2 mile, cross through S. Tryon St., then turn left at South Blvd. Go 1/2 mile on South Blvd. and turn right on to East Blvd., continue for approx. one mile. Just before Kenilworth Ave on right, at corner of Charlotte Drive, 1244 East Blvd.

From I-85
Take I-77 South exit toward Columbia and follow directions above.

From the Airport
Take Billy Graham Parkway south. At I-77, road’s name changes to Woodlawn Rd. 1/2 mile past I-77, turn left at South Blvd. Go approx. 2 1/2 miles and turn right on to East Blvd., continue for approx one mile. Just before Kenilworth Ave on right, at corner of Charlotte Drive, 1244 East Blvd.

From Uptown Charlotte
Take Tryon St south over I-277, cross Morehead St. and continue for 1/4 mi, turn left on to Bland St. Go to stoplight and turn right on to South Blvd. Turn left at second light on to East Blvd. and continue for approx. one mile. Just before Kenilworth Ave on right, at corner of Charlotte Drive, 1244 East Blvd.
